WE KNOW VISITING ANYTHING FOR THE FIRST TIME CAN BE INTIMIDATING. WE WANT TO MAKE SURE YOU FEEL WELCOME, COMFORTABLE, AND LOVED WHEN YOU COME VISIT US. HERE'S A FEW COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS....
1. Who are we?
We are a caring community passionate about connecting people to Jesus Christ.
2. When and where?
We have multiple campus movements across South Florida at the University of Miami, Florida International University, Florida Atlantic University, Johnson and Wales - North Miami, and others.
3. Is there a dress code?
The dress code is very casual. There’s no need to come in a suit, tuxedo, or anything too fancy. Come as you are! Jeans and a t-shirt works fine.
4. What should I expect on my first visit?
From the moment you first arrive, it’s our goal to make you feel at home. We have live music, relevant teaching and a great caring community that wants to get to know you. We also go out after our meeting to socialize on campus to get to know each other better. Our services start & end on time, so come early to get a great seat!
5. What is the worship experience like?
Our experiences are meaningful, creative and spiritually engaging. Each experience kicks off with a time of live worship music - which is often a blend of live energetic rock and soul that has our guests standing.
6. What is the teaching like?
Our Director or a staff member shares a biblically-centered message that's always honest and challenging, empowering you to apply Jesus' words to your daily life. Then we wrap up the experience with a few closing announcements.
7. What do I do when I first arrive to a weekly meeting?
If you come to a weekly meeting, we'd love to meet you and answer any questions you may have and our staff would love the opportunity to shake your hand and personally welcome you to Cru! Just come on in and let us get to know you, we are here to serve and care for you.
8. What goes on in our bible studies?
We believe in Christian community centered around studying the bible together. We are committed to studying Gods Word and applying it to our daily lives on campus. We have multiple community groups at various times and locations so you can find a convenient fit for you!
