What is Burning Man?
That’s up for debate during Paris Electronic Week
Burning Man is known for being a magical and unique getaway in a pop-up desert city that is littered with giant art structures. Organisers though are always at pains to stress it’s not a festival. So what is it?
That’s coming up for debate during Paris Electronic Week, which returns to the city for its 7th edition from 26 – 28 September.
Two Burning Man representatives will fly in for the panel entitled Freedom, inspiration, art and nature: what is Burning Man? As well offering an insight into the foundations of the event, they’ll discuss how it has developed over the years, the challenges it has faced and how it has maintained its value and reputation.
In all, around 100 speakers will talk on a range of pressing dance music topics with 40 linked workshops, masterclasses, conferences and meetings. An estimated 10,000 people will take part across the three days.
