Four Tet Heads to Fabric for a Six-Hour Set
Proceeds from the party will help refugees
Four Tet is one of electronic music’s most accomplished artists. Whether crafting the intricate indie-tronica of his early years with live instruments and machines, turning out raw, garage-inspired club cuts or afro-infused summertime jams, he never disappoints.
As a DJ, too, he has a wide remit that takes in a whole world of musical influences, and they’ll all be on display when he plays a six-hour set at Fabric, in London, on Sunday, 1 September.
Four Tet’s most recent outing is new single Dreamer, which is his third of the year after the long-teased, Nelly Furtado-sampling Only Human. It comes ahead of him going back-to-back with Skrillex for a second time at the Warehouse Project, on 26 October, and is a magically melodic bit of broken beat.
Willow will warm up for the Text label boss at Fabric and proceeds from the party go to the Help Refugees charity.
