Hacienda Classical Returns to Dubai Opera

Expect club anthems, disco surprises and more…

“The two shows we performed at Dubai Opera were among the highlights of last year’s Hacienda Classical tour. The crowd were amazing and the atmosphere was electric.”

So claims original Hacienda DJ Graeme Park, who returns to the UAE this weekend with the Manchester Camerata Orchestra for more club classics on an epic scale.

Our man in the audience at one of last year’s sold-out shows in Dubai rated it “without doubt one of the best gigs in the UAE for years”, and Park and co. are looking forward to taking to the stage in the iconic dhow-shaped Dubai Opera building once again, on Friday, 29 November. “It's a truly amazing venue and I'm really excited about returning,” says Park.

The veteran DJ added that this year’s refreshed Hacienda Classical show includes “some massive Hacienda anthems, as well as some disco surprises from the 1970s, along with a few contemporary tunes from the 21st century”.

Hacienda Classical has had another superb year with Glastonbury, London’s Royal Albert Hall and Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl among the tour dates. “The response we've had from audiences this year has been absolutely tremendous,” says Park.

Tickets for Hacienda Classical at Dubai Opera are available through Platinum List, starting from AED250.
